God in the city!

It is known that you meet the creator through his creations, your read in what he created, you search, to get a hint on how he might be, and we know through out the history, that the number one place, to be feeling God’s presence, is in Nature, with all its beauty and organization, and all its inhabitants.

Lina hanna hanna.

The order in which everything occurs, is amazing, the scenery, the vast spaces, the mountains, the valleys are all wonders, and seen as proof of God‘s existence.

But I have always wondered, has anyone felt God in the fast hectic rhythm of the city life style?
Has anyone felt his presence through the crowded spaces, or the fast lane we are always taking, to get where we are headed quicker?
Did anyone felt his very own presence? We are becoming more unconscious, more distant, more blown away, with filling our hours with obligations, or trying to make up for those stressful moments, we endure, as we have to keep a job, and thereby a source of income, did we ever stop to smell a rose? Or even see what we look at?
We look but do not see, the familiarities kill the specifications, and as a result we loose the ability to feel amazed, or rejuvenated. We pass by the scene a zillion times , but never do we stop to see its unfamiliar aspect, its beauty, its distinction, we drive by the sea on regular basis , but do we ever drive and actually have our eyes looking at its immensity, or at the sun’s reflection on its surface?

We are missing on a lot, each minute, each day, we do enjoy a nice view, or an exquisite smell, or a nice tune, we are always contained through a frame, a frame that empoisons us and keep us from enjoying what is free and spacious , where no walls can reach , just be one with what surrounds us, I have always hated walls, although they do procure a sense of security, but to me they are also what keeps me limited through a certain space, while I like to feel light hearted and timeless.

Will you ever sense God’s existence in the rush hour? Will you even hear your own heartbeats with all the horns and the noise?

It is certain that God can be felt in your heart wherever you might be, but what happens when you fail to feel your own heart and being?.
