Beauty

Beauty has always been the subject of wonder, fascination and charm; hard to define and harder to resist, beauty is the outmost enchantment that we are weak to stand firm and refuse to succumb to its magical appeal. It arouses our senses and feeds our eyes with its splendor, its soothing upshot and its stirring impact that unifies the division in our being.

Beauty is not exclusively the physical beauty, beauty is also kindness, it is found in all the virtues one possess, it is in the substance, it is the inner world that is mirrored through the exterior one; our shapes and forms are but accidental, our private jewels lingers underneath our skin color, our hairdo and our physical assets, we shine and glow from the inside so it can be showed on our faces.

Evil is not attractive, abuse is never appealing; self-centeredness and egoism are never alluring even if decorated with the most stunning ornaments.

Violence is ugly, manipulation is hideous, there is nothing pleasant about having a rotten heart and bad intentions, hypocrisy turns what is beautiful into what is simply repulsive.

On the other hand, a warm hug and a kind smile even from a very ugly person is pure splendor and gorgeousness, an act of love and respect vibes and resonates with beauty. Beauty is a way of being a full human, to rise above and beyond the pettiness of animal instincts and savage behavioral pattern.

We all lean towards what is fine-looking; we all like to look at what gives our eyes comfort and hunger to feel more alive and more divine. And what can possibly give us that leap of sublime and that dose of a higher existence than a beautiful heart? No physical beauty alone can subsist and take over the beauty of a well designed and full Mind.

Human beings have always longed to beautify the places they occupied, we want to make our homes more beautiful, our streets, our countries, we are the makers of beautiful things and the consumers of exquisiteness, how is it that we crave beauty so much and yet walk on the path that drifts us further away from achieving it?

Why don’t we get more concerned in beautifying our hearts, purifying our souls, detoxifying our systems from all the venom and toxics that infects our humanity? When we invest our efforts and good taste in having a good grace we will reach our compassion and we will be able to enjoy the external beauty and be transformed with it in a way to have a harmony from deep within and towards the outer space we inhabit.

Let us enjoy beauty wherever it may be found, in nature, in people, in all the art produced by man in an attempt to kill away all the suffering he endures throughout the history.

Beauty is, and always will remain our salvation, our gateway from all what pulls us down to obscurity and monstrosity; it will elevate and educate our senses so that we can climb our mounts of selfishness and any deteriorated attributes that make us less humans and more savages.
