Trust is the cornerstone of any successful relationship, regardless what the nature of that relationship will be, whether it is love, or friendship or parenthood.

Know when someone trusts you, you hold their hearts in the palm of your hands, you have access to their weakness, their sensitivity, what you say or do can and will affect them, be conscious about that, and know the meaning that holds for them.

When you trust, you expose yourself, your vulnerabilities, your most intimate thoughts and states of being and feelings are jeopardized, and the people you have faith in become your fortress, your defense, against the uncommon and unknown grounds.

But what happens, when the same persons you are supposed to feel secured with, and loved? When those whom you regard as your shield become the very persons that inflict pain upon you and threaten your faith, in your ability to trust yourself and others?

You feel betrayed, you feel that stabbed you in your heart, and you start to question yourself and every decision you made, how could I have let it happen? How did I let myself be off guard? How did I let my defense down?

But then you think to yourself, and you know that is was not your fault, that you are not to held responsible for what someone else made you loose, you realize that you can not deal with others on a doubtful basis, you can not be suspicious of every behavior that other adopt when you are concerned, you will become paranoid, and indecision will lead your path. And this is wrong, you have to work through your won hesitations, and be more cautious , for cautious people rarely make mistakes, but being careful does not mean being skeptical , it means studying the persons that are involved with your life, and think of their motivations, and their importance for you, to see if they are worth of your acquired trust, this is not an easy task to achieve , but having people you cherish and have faith in is by all standards worth taking the risk of you throwing yourself out there in the open, and remember when we close the door afraid of the wind , we might block the sun as well…

Always be honest, let the truth be your ally, do not be hypocrite, and hide behind your words, and black heart, never pretend to have something when it is not even there, and be responsible for your mistakes, and of you have the guts to do something, you should use the same guts, to be open about it, and face it, you do not owe anyone anything, why give someone fake money, when you do not even owe them any penny?
